Terms of Use

1. What Sincefy is

Sincefy turns an important date into a digital celebration: a page with photos, text, music, a time counter, a timeline and other features, which you share by link, QR Code or a PDF card to print. The features available depend on the plan you choose.

2. Your account

To create and buy a celebration, you need an account, and you agree to:

• be 18 years old or older;
• provide truthful information and keep it up to date (name, mobile number and e-mail);
• use an e-mail and a mobile number that belong to you;
• keep your password safe and not share it;
• tell us if you notice any improper access to your account.

You are responsible for what happens in your account. The page of a celebration can be opened by anyone who receives the link, without an account.

3. Plans, price and payment

Sincefy offers plans that vary in page duration, number of photos, features and included edits. The prices and conditions of each plan are those shown on the pricing page and at checkout, at the time of purchase.

Payment is one-time, made by Pix or credit card, and is not a subscription: nothing is charged again unless you start a purchase or a renewal. Payment is processed by Stone (Pagar.me). The card number is sent straight to Stone by your browser and does not go through our servers.

The order is held for a limited time, and the generated Pix is valid until the deadline shown on screen. Once the deadline passes, a new order has to be created. Your page is released after the payment is confirmed.

4. Duration, edits and renewal

The page stays active for the period of the plan, counted from the confirmation of payment. When the period ends, the celebration expires and the content stops being displayed. Whoever created it can renew it by paying again: the new period is added to whatever remains, or starts on the renewal date if the page has already expired, and the plan edits become available again.

Each plan includes a number of edits per period. Each confirmed save after creation counts as one edit, and an expired page can only be edited after it is renewed.

5. Withdrawal and cancellation

You may withdraw from the purchase within 7 (seven) days from the confirmation of payment, under the right of withdrawal provided by the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, and get back the amount paid. To do so, write to the contact e-mail at the end of this page, stating your account e-mail.

If the payment is returned to the payer, whether by refund or by a dispute with the bank or the card issuer, the page is deactivated and stops being displayed.

After that period, the amount paid is not refunded, and the page stays active until the end of the contracted period. You can delete your account at any time by asking through the contact e-mail, but deletion erases your celebrations and does not generate a proportional refund.

6. Your content

Photos, texts, audio, music and video links and everything else you put in the celebration belong to you. You authorize us only to store, process and display this content so the service works: showing the page to whoever you share the link with (and, if you choose a PIN, to whoever knows the PIN), generating the QR Code and the card and, only if you authorize it when creating or editing, displaying the page in the inspiration gallery.

By confirming the creation, you declare that you can use and share everything you included. If other people appear in the images, it is your responsibility to have their permission and, in the case of children, that of whoever is responsible for them. You can withdraw the gallery authorization when editing.

7. Permitted use

You agree not to publish or send content that:

• violates someone's copyright, image or privacy rights;
• is illegal, discriminatory, offensive, threatening, violent or sexually explicit;
• involves children in an inappropriate way;
• is used for scams, harassment or sending unwanted messages.

It is also not allowed to access other people's accounts or pages, try to guess PINs, exploit flaws, overload the service, use bots without our authorization, or copy, resell or redistribute the service.

8. PIN-protected page and privacy

You choose who can open the page: unlisted (anyone with the link), public or, on plans that include this feature, protected by PIN. The PIN and the link are your responsibility: whoever has them can open the page. After a few wrong attempts, access to the page is blocked for a while.

The celebration media is stored in a private area and shown through temporary addresses. For that reason, a page left open for a long time may need to be reloaded for the images to keep showing.

9. Availability and changes

We do our best to keep the service up, but it is provided as is and may be interrupted by maintenance, failures or problems with external providers, such as the payment provider.

We may change features and plans.

10. Intellectual property

The Sincefy brand, design, themes, texts and code are ours or licensed to us. You receive a personal, limited, revocable and non-exclusive right to use the service, as long as you comply with these Terms.

11. Suspension, removal and termination

We may take a page down and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law, or when we receive a well-founded report, notifying you whenever possible. To report content, write to the contact e-mail.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, for losses caused by improper use of the account, the link or the PIN, for content that you or third parties publish, or for failures of third-party services beyond our control. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights that consumer law guarantees you.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top of the page shows the version in force, and relevant changes will be announced by e-mail or on the site. Continuing to use the service after the notice means you accept the new version.

14. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The courts of the district of Alfenas, Minas Gerais, are chosen as the venue, without prejudice to the consumer’s right to bring an action in the courts of their place of residence.
